Shoes on the Danube Promenade - is a memorial on the Danube river embankment that was created by the Hungarian sculptor Gyula Pauer and his friend Can Togay for the victims of the Holocaust. It consists of 60 pairs of iron shoes arranged in a row of about 40 metres, each pair being modelled after a contemporary shoe from the 1940's. It is a commemoration dedicated to the victims of the fascist Arrow Cross party on the site where Jewish men, women and children were shot and thrown into the Danube in 1944–45. The victims had to take off their shoes, since shoes were valuable belongings at the time.

Weekend-ul Nikonistilor 18-20 Feb 2011

Weekend-ul trecut am avut ocazia sa particip la doua workshop-uri foarte interesante organizate de Nikon: Sambata la “Arhitectura naturii: fotografie de peisaj sub indrumarea lui Stefano Regazzoni” si Duminica la "Shooting fashion&glamour pentru revista LOOK" sub indrumarea lui Sebastian Enache.
